Self Catering Accommodation of the Year 2018/19
Monday, 19th November 2018
Last week some of our team attended the annual Bristol, Bath & Somerset Tourism Awards 2018/19 at The Apex Hotel, Bath sponsored by Bristol Airport.
Nearly 300 guests from the best tourism businesses across the Bristol, Bath and Somerset attended a black-tie dinner and awards ceremony. Laura Rawlings, from BBC Radio Bristol, hosted the evening alongside Phil de Glanville, former Bath Rugby player, with sponsors presenting 86 hand crafted awards made by Shakespeare Glass.
Mr. Darcy’s Abode the latest property to be added to the Bath Boutique Stays portfolio was a finalist in the Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year and we are delighted to say that we were awarded silver.
Congratulations to gold winners Middlewick Holiday Cottages, and equally Wall Eden Farm Holidays who were awarded bronze.
Bath was well represented at the event with Baths Historic Venues, The Roman Baths & Pump Rooms, The Queensberry Hotel, The Olive Tree Restaurant, The Gainsborough Bath Spa and West of England Falconry all taking gold awards in a glittering evening. We were thrilled to be in such esteemed company.
We would like to thank the panel, the sponsors and the hosts The Apex Hotel, Bath for a great event.
We also would like to publicly thank our committed and brilliant hard-working team and our partners city wide with whom Bath Boutique Stays co-creates excellent experiences for visitors to Bath.
Thanks too to Bath for being the city you are, meaning that your exacting standards are always motivation for us to work harder and do better.
Thanks to our loyal guests who share the news of Bath Boutique Stays across the UK and beyond.
Congratulations to all the finalists we met (and those we didn’t) who are all excelling in a tough climate.
This is our 3rd award in recent years which has already generated an increase in demand since our winner finalist announcement was made.
We are immensely proud of our achievements and look forward to 2019 when we have more exciting plans.
