1. Halloween in Bath

The National Trust’s Prior Park Landscape Gardens have a spooky trail for the kids to take part in. A fright of ghosts has settled in the garden for this spooky Halloween week. This is a fun for all the family activity, including dogs on leads! It is open from Saturday 26th October to 3rd November but due to the nature of the grounds this isn’t wheelchair friendly.

2. Rotary Club Fireworks

See November in with this stunning all singing all dancing fireworks display raising funds for local charities. The Rotary Club of Bath will again be holding the fireworks display on the Bath Recreation Ground. On Saturday 2nd November in the wonderful central setting of Bath’s Recreation Ground.

3. The Bath Children’s Literature Festival

The Telegraph’s Bath Children’s Literature Festival runs from Friday 27th September to Sunday 6th October. This is the largest dedicated children’s book festival for the UK and is full of fun and entertaining events for you and your children.

4. Longleat’s Fantastic Festival

25th – 26th October and 1st and 2nd October, Longleat say their fireworks are ‘back and better than ever’ with a dazzling firework display set to a sensational soundtrack. Longleat is just a 30-minute drive from central Bath.

5. Heritage Open Week at Bath & North East Somerset Museums

Each year, during the autumn half-term in October, museums in Bath & North East Somerset arrange a series of free events and activities for children and local residents. Watch their social media platforms for Heritage Open days between September 13-22.
